Counsellor
Grace completed her Master of Counselling in Singapore and has been in practice for more than a decade. She is a member of the Singapore Association for Counselling and listed with the Singapore Register of Counsellors. She is also a certified Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT) Therapist.
She has previously worked in correctional rehabilitation, youth and family service settings. Her work specialises in chronic depression and inter-relation cases such as marital or relationship challenges. She also has experience delivering well-being topics for Social Services Agencies and facilitation in Emotion Focused Therapy workshops.
In her practice, Grace uses modalities like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Schema Therapy (ST), Motivational Interviewing (MI). She specialises in Choice/Reality Therapy as well as Systemic/Family Therapy, in particular, through the Internal Family Systems Model.
Grace is fluent in English and Mandarin. By focusing on providing a safe space, it allows her clients to share and process their thoughts and feelings, gaining insights in the process. She is married and a loving mother to 2 boys and a girl. She also enjoys playing the drums in her free time.

I aspired to be a HDB tai-tai but ended up with many more work roles, i.e., counsellor by day and grab-mother to 2 teens, grab-wife, a milk machine to my 2yo toddler and a tower control for the family.
