Provisional Psychologist
Celine is currently pursuing her Master of Psychology (Clinical) in Singapore, and is under the clinical supervision of Dr. Joel Yang during her placement here at Mind What Matters.
Before joining the team, Celine spent 5 years as an Assistant Psychologist in the public service sector, working with individuals aged 18 to 50 from diverse backgrounds. She has supported clients experiencing a range of psychological difficulties, including Adjustment difficulties, Depressive and Anxiety Disorders, as well as interpersonal and relationship challenges. Outside of clinical settings, Celine has also been involved in the social service sector, volunteering to support individuals and families in their pursuit of social mobility.
Celine integrates Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) in her practice, and is certified in Choice Theory and Reality Therapy (CTRT). She is a strong advocate for person-centred care, and brings an empathetic, warm and non-judgmental presence to her therapeutic work.
She is fluent in English and conversational in Mandarin. In her personal time, Celine enjoys brewing her Nanyang coffee and matcha, travelling, sharing a good laugh and spending quality time with her loved ones. She approaches life with an open-mind and reflective spirit, and is currently interested in the meaning of life and existentialism.
