Clinical Psychologist
Mark completed his Masters in Clinical Psychology in Australia. He is a member of the Singapore Psychological Society, registered with the Singapore Register of Psychologists, a registered Supervisor, and a Certified Substance Abuse Counsellor. Mark currently offers Clinical Supervision upon request.
Mark has provided clinical services in various settings at Sengkang General Hospital for over 7 years, conducting neuropsychological assessments for NS-men, working adults, and older adults. Mark avidly believes in neuroplasticity and has conducted both individual- and group- based cognitive rehabilitation interventions. He has also mentored Master of Clinical Psychology students during their clinical placements.
In his practice, Mark utilises a range of therapeutic interventions from modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectic Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness-Based Therapy, Motivational Interviewing (MI), Schema Therapy (ST) and specifically, Trauma-Focused Therapy.
Mark believes that every individual has unique strengths worth tapping on in the journey towards psychological growth. In his practice, clients can expect a respectful and safe space to share their psychological needs.
Mark is fluent in English and Malay. In his free time, he enjoys learning about human geography, listening to music, and playing sports.
