Associate Counsellor
Tiffany recently completed her Masters in Guidance and Counselling at James Cook University.
Prior to pursuing a career in counselling, Tiffany’s experience involved working with children and parents in both research and early intervention. Her expertise in neurodevelopmental issues helped her develop an appreciation for individual differences and how each individual’s strengths can look distinct from one another.
Beyond recognising the uniqueness of each individual, Tiffany believes in the significance of early attachment and upbringing in guiding our behaviours, and how we regulate and relate to others. Her time managing various accounts for workplace wellbeing solutions has also equipped her with the knowledge and understanding of current working adult issues and its stressors.
Through co-creating a safe space within the therapy session, she aims to foster a deeper self-awareness within clients and for them to model the same safety outside of the session. Currently, she employs techniques from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) and Person-Centered Therapy (PCT) to guide her practice.
Tiffany is fluent in English and conversant in Mandarin. In her free time, she enjoys spending her time with people that matter, having conversations that inspire her, reading, and (occasionally) exercising.
